Description

As the global market leader, we offer a unique chance to shape tomorrow’s multimedia business. We care about you as an individual and about your development. You will be a vital part of our company, working across borders and meeting great minds from all over the world.

Together, we will create new ways for people to communicate. Along the way, we will share many exciting experiences. Experiences that will make you grow. And drive the multimedia future.

The program
The program starts February/March 2008.

Straight into the hot seat
From the start, you will be one of our team. You will have your base camp at one of the Multimedia units. But to learn the ways of Ericsson, you have to see more. You will go on three different four-month assignments, exploring the different aspects of the business. Some of these rotations will be in different countries.

Back to school
The learning sessions are where you get the facts behind it all. And there is a lot you need to know. Together with your fellow trainees you will learn about the way the industry is changing, multimedia technology, Ericsson’s role in the global market place, business skills, communication skills, leadership, personal development, and self-learning.

Support from day one
You will have a senior manager mentoring you throughout the program. Someone who will guide you and coach you. And you will have your network of Multimedia Professionals like yourself, from different parts of the world and with different knowledge and experience.

Knowing where you’re going
Throughout the program we will think about your future career at Ericsson. You will get individual profiling, personal development meetings and take part in workshops. You will increase your understanding of your strengths and weaknesses and your personal drives and attitudes.

Requirements

We are on a global search for young, talented individuals. If you live, breathe and love the latest in multimedia, this is the career of your dreams.

Are you ready for this?
We want the best. And we need variety. You might be an artistic person, a designer or a business developer, an innovator or an engineer. We don't know. But we know you are as passionate about multimedia as we are. And prepared to go where no one has gone before.

You will have the most inspiring, exciting and demanding 18 months of your life. From the start you will be expected to contribute and deliver. You will have to move to a foreign country - at least twice. You will be taught leadership, business and communication skills. You will get a crash course in Ericsson culture and the industry. Along the way we'll support you in any way we can. We want you to become the best you can be. So you can take us further into the future.

We are sure this is not for everyone. But if you have read this far and have a smile on your face - you might be the one we are looking for.

To become one of our Multimedia Professionals, you need:

  • A bachelor degree (minimum)
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • International experience and a global attitude
  • Drive, focus, creativity and self-motivation
  • To be an active multimedia user and have good knowledge of various multimedia technologies
