"Our engineering graduates are given the opportunity to work across our upstream gas production, electricity generation and renewable asset operations. This gives them the breadth and depth of skills needed to build an outstanding career within our energy business." - Jake Ulrich, Managing Director of Centrica Energy

Our two and a half year programme will give you exposure to a cross-section of Centrica Energy assets and operations. During the programme you’ll have 2, 1 year placements. These will cover the core areas of Centrica’s energy production business including time in a power station, working with Hydrocarbon Resources Ltd (the upstream gas production business with offshore facilities in Morecambe Bay)  These will be placed in the north at Heysham or Brigg. You will then be given the opportunity to have a 6 month non technical placement in the commercially focused head offices at Windsor or Uxbridge. Your placements are spread across the UK to allow for the exposure to both the upstream energy production sites of hydrocarbon processing and electricity generation and the commercial perspective from head office.
