BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH is a corporate group operating worldwide, which posts annual sales in the year 2006 in excess of 8.3 billion euros. It stemmed from a joint venture set up in 1967 between Robert Bosch GmbH (Stuttgart) and Siemens AG (Munich).Today, BSH operates 45 factories in 15 countries in Europe, the USA, Latin America and Asia. Together with a global network of sales and customer service firms, the BSH family is today made up of about 70 companies in 43 countries, employing with about 38,000 people.
Within a comprehensive brand portfolio, the main brands Bosch and Siemens are Europe’s top-selling names. With its six special brands (Gaggenau, Neff, Thermador, Constructa,Viva and Ufesa), BSH caters for the individual and diverse wishes of consumers in relation to brand names and products. Six regional brands (Pitsos, Profilo, Balay, Lynx, Coldex and Continental) ensure a fine image and high market shares in their respective homelands. The product range marketed under the various brands encompasses large and small home appliances.

What we offer

For the third time, the German magazine karriere, together with the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) and the geva institute, has compiled a ranking of the top employers in Germany. A total of 85 companies made the list. BSH received an outstanding fourth place ranking behind Bosch Rexroth, Citibank and NH Hoteles.
In the search for Germany´s top employers, companies were evaluated according to 14 criteria, including opportunities for advancement, employee satisfaction and market position. These were then combined into six categories: market leader, work-life balance, development, job security, pay, and corporate climate and performance orientation.
For the comprehensive study, 85 renowned companies were surveyed about salary, career development and work-life balance. Based on these detailed questionnaires and personal interviews, the geva institute identified the 20 most attractive employers in Germany. BSH was awarded fourth place. In the areas of entry and advancement opportunities, sustainability/business development, salary benefits and working time models, BSH even achieved the maximum number of points.
